Muscle retention in PD

I have been riding a relatively good streak since DBS 6 years ago. Recently my right side muscles, bicep and my leg have become severely compromised. My bicep looks like I survived WW2 prison camp! (NO DISRESPECT INTENDED). I am active with yoga and yard work etc. I can't lift my grandchildren........ This has come on rapidly and I need to arrest it and regain

That part of PD I don't like! Losing muscle mass is disconcerting! Actually, I don't like anything about having PD. It has turned my life upside down! The reality is that it is what it is, and I have to adjust!

It’s just that I have never experienced that rapid of progression in 16 yrs since dx. It even had made me not want to wear short sleeves!

Well, if this makes you feel any better, I am not even two years since diagnostic and I have to wear long sleeves because of loss muscle masse. And although I don’t have grandchildren, I cannot lift my 16 pound dog. I wish I had 16 years after diagnosis before that happened to me...
