I know this is old news of which many of you are aware, but the benefits of thiamine for PWP is not just the fanciful idea of Dr. Costantini. After taking high doses of thiamine every day for nearly one year and having substantial blood tests every 3 months, I am convinced that (1) It is safe; and (2) It HELPS! Dr. Costantini Was Not The Only Researcher Who Saw Thiamine As A Helpful Treatment for PD
Nice one for my building library.
Good one.
The link provided shows much success with low doses of B-1, just 100 - 200mg / day. Improved gait, arm swings, less drooling. I haven't had improvement in my walk at much higher doses.
There's also a good review article on the possible mechanism(s) of action with the same authors (and title, for some strange reason):

My personal favorite possible MOA is the effect of thiamine on glycation, but they're all plausible and more than one might be at work.

the report shows the case studies of PD patients who were treated with IM administration of thiamine
"Baker et al [20] demonstrated that only the intramuscular administration of thiamine was able to correct thiamine deficiencies in subjects over age 60. "
However , there is no mention of oral administration
