I do not see any reason why not. I add it to my morning oatmeal.

I've been researching dairy/PD relationship since that post, and finding out that I probably am undermining my AM coffee/mannitol by adding milk.

As it happens I gave up dairy a while back to reduce my LDLs. Have now adopted the bear diet - nuts (almond butter & milk), berries and salmon :-)

Just want to let you know, my further search produced tons of dairy issues with relation to PD...so I'm def not taking it with mannitol and coffee any more.

I do it every day. A large McDonald coffee 2 creams and 1 1/2 tblsp. of mannitol.

I use coconut milk creamer and find it even better taste wise.

Since my post I've been plodding through info on causes of synuclein clumping. It occurred to me that since so many healthy people have dairy issues, maybe I should look at the relationship of PD/dairy....and there's tons.

I think those of us on Mannitol may be undermining the benefits if we add dairy to our coffee. I tried asking clinicrowd, but that site is useless, they never respond.

Sadly I experienced the same frustration when trying to deal with CliniCrowd. Not sure if it's a money thing or a technology thing or both, but it appears there are precious few resources at their disposal.

As for dairy, I completely agree. I love me some cheese, but I try my best to avoid all dairy now.

So...I guess I drink my coffee black from now on, except on holidays !

And try sugar free or reduced sugar coconut creamer! Full of the right fats & add ur mannitol

Me too- gotta look hard for sugar free version though: to avoid mannitol sweetness overload!
