Hi @JohnnyT, 2 shaved tablespoons dissolved in cup of tea or coffee, once a day after a meal.

I have just recently started taking it again and above is what I take after breakfast or lunch.

The Clinicrowd website does not prescribe whether the mannitol should be taken with or without food, or the time of day. So we should make it clear that your preference, though perfectly fine, is not the "law of the land." All they do specify is easing into it, working up gradually from a small daily dose to a maximum of 20gm, above which it may have a laxative effect and other unfortunate consequences.

Does it help tremor

in reply toRosabellazita

I believe everyone is different when taking it as Parkinson’s is different per person. My mom has been taking it for a month and she has her voice back. There are other small improvements I’ve noticed. We will definitely keep taking it. Also Clinicrowd recommended she take 1 tablespoon a day. She weighs 120/125 lbs. But I found out today that she should actually be taking more like 2 tablespoons a day so I will up that for her. So far so good.

It is recommended that you complete the registration process at the clinicrowd.info site so that information germane to response can be recorded. This data will then be collated and used to further research in the use of mannitol.

I am not sure if this is the problem, but the Clinicrowd site requires that your browser allows what computer folks call "cookies." The Help facility on your browser will show you how to enable this.

Here is the page where you can register on Clinicrowd to be part of the process:

I took a screen shot of the chart. My mom is 45 kg so we will try 6 grams per day. What is your weight in kg?
