My husband has had his Madopar cut by a lot which is fine but he now needs analgesic for the bad pain Going to GP Monday but wondering what other people take

I'm curious why his madopar was cut. I take Sinemet 25/ 100 and pain is definitely one of my main symptoms if it wears off. I cannot go for walks without having enough in my system due to the dystonia in my back. I have read that up to 85% of people with PD deal with pain. That's a lot.

Thank you for replying

He had to go in hospital as he was so confused and hallucinating and the neurologist said that the Madopar was the cause

I'm so sorry to hear that! I was just reading about madopar and apparently those are all possible side effects. I wonder if perhaps he would do better on sinemet. I think it's important whatever we start taking to start very very slowly with small doses and build up from there.

Yes he has been on Madopar for over 2 years starting very low
