Allathiamine correct dose?

I am trying allathiamine. I understand the dose to be 200 mg every other day. This seems to be different than thiamine hcl?

Am I correct on the allathiamine? Why different than thiamine hcl? Thanks

My initial improvement occurred when I was taking 50mg Allithiamine two times daily. Then Doctor Costantini moved me to thiamin HCL and that showed better results.

Before starting thiamine injections I took 100mg of allithiamine daily for a month and felt it made a difference in my overall energy.

Any improvement with tremors yet...I’m going ok...no change in tremors...but feel good.

The last two weeks I took 6g a day seeking tremor improvement with thiamin HCL. Nothing profound but I imagine a slight improvement. I am frequently asked "what improvement overall?" The answer came yesterday when my dentist commented that my walking shows great improvement over the last time she saw me 6 months earlier.

That’s a plus for you...hope the extra b1 will help the shaking...if I don’t improve on that level I may up the dosage as well...
