I took teaspoon of mannitol for first three days incase its laxative properties showed up. They didnt so i increased dose to 1 tablespoon every am. Its nothing to be scared of its only a sugar. It having huge benefits for me- my advicewould be give it a go- maybe start other supplements a week later so you can see if any initial upsets. Just my twopence worth. Good luck

Mannitol has lifted my apathy and made me mentally awake by lifting the fog. Also helps with some dexterity but mostly mental. Gas is not an issue as get from syncolein.com which has anti-gas agent.

I take B1 first thing on an empty stomach with a glass of water . I take a heaped teaspoon of Mannitol later in a coffee with coconut oil and curcumin. I may take the odd tiny bit of Mannitol up till early afternoon if I haven't been regular. You need to be well hydrated when taking Mannitol. I think it works best when you are regular rather than too loose as it were.

I haven't worked out what the best dose is for me, so can't advise. I am still at the very early stages, so don't need much.

Is there any reason why you take it with b1?

No. I have not started the B1 yet I heard it was good for pd so I was going to try it along with Mannotol . But I am not sure what the dosage should be. 500mg seems like a lot. I have taken the mannotol for two mornings , 1/2 tsp but have had very loose bowels both days so I didn't take this morning . Thought I might wait and start again at a lower dose. Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you

Suggestion answer: 500mg B1

Doc. Costantini explained as follows:

"we use thiamine hydrocloride intramuscular phials or tablets taken by mouth. Generally, with the oral therapy we start with 2 grams each day to be taken once a day in the morning, in order to increase the dose later consequently to the results obtained. The oral therapy is as effective as the intramuscular one. Some follow-ups of the results are always necessary"
