Live experiment : Thiamine chlorhydrate Day 33

Nothing much to tell, friends. The first week with thiamine was like Wow !

I stayed at the same dose of 100mg IM every third day.

I was hoping all the symptoms to recede, and I still feel better than before, but my thinking is still somewhat foggy along with lack of motivation and sleepiness.

There are also some "real" reasons for me to worry, to be kind of depressed : I have to prepare for retirement, having reached the limit age here (66) and I guess that also takes its toll.

I get the impression of being unjust, not positive enough in this post.

Maybe I should lower the dose - e.g. by having a shot every 4th day or something ? I'm referring to the thread ofJulygrace :

Your thoughts very welcome.

I am within a day or two of your same schedule, but I have stayed with twice weekly injections. At this point I can't say I'm feeling any different than I did after 30 days on 100mg allithiamine capsules, but I plan to give it a full 60 days, at least. Since reducing from 100mg to 80mg I have been sleeping better.

Well you could always write to him personally. Many have done it. Describe your case and have a personalized answer.😜

Your response curve for B1 is similar to mine with citicoline. I wonder why the initial Wow! Responses followed by rapid tapering of efficacy.

It's also similar to Sulbutiamine a potent thiamine disulfide used for fibromyalgia, asthenia and as nootropic agent

Placebo effect works great on people with Parkinson. They have done studies on this.
