I have itchy legs that feels like wearing boiled wool pants in 90 degree weather. Dr. Prescribed Rytary increase which gave me some relief for a short period of time. Anyone else had this? Any suggestions? I have had PD for about 4 years. Thanks!

I get this when I am low in magnesium. I take around 400 mg magnesium citrate at night, and it stops, quite quickly. Hope it helps

Just be careful not to over-do the magnesium. I use a great product called Natural Calm. I order it from my acupuncturist\ herbaligist. Requip did nothing for me except swell my ankles and calves This product when used properly relieves PD stressors enhances sleep as wells corrected constitutional irregularities!

whenever I get itchy legs and feet, it usually means, I need my B-12 injection. After my injection I feel complete relief. Also, Restless legs syndrome is nothing more than a deficiency of B12 in your system.

Janice, I would say that RLS is more than a B12 deficiency. Taking B12 did nothing for my RLS .....unfortunately......and only had relief with an increase in my Sinemet CR dose before bed. Hoping the relief continues and I am not blowing it by making this announcement! Just slightly superstitious!
