My skin has a texture like fine sandpaper. Guess what it is?

We Parkinson’s people contract skin cancer. Across my forehead and down my face, skin has a fine lizard texture. I may be metamorphousing into a Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I also have excessive dandruff all over my head that now worryingly extends to my face, chest, back and scantily on my arms.. But I was told, by specialist not to worry, its all just skin-rash... which is not uncommon with PwP.

From what I read this is common with Parkinson’s, some thing I too experienced and no matter what I did I could not resolve the issue aside from a micro dermabrasion which is expensive, but then my daughter gave me a peeling gel for your face and I could not believe it, after using this product my face was a soft and smooth as a babies butt, The dry scaly skin just sloughed off! Do you take 5htp? I read that 5htp taken in combination with sinemet can increase the risk of scleroderma. Good luck my good friend! Get it checked out !! And try the peels so good!

Roy, my skin is quite sensitive and get rashes and lots of Seborrheic dermatitis (mostly keratosis). Dermatologist will scrape them off or use nitrogen. Insurance will only cover the removal if the bumps are NOT cosmetic - meaning they have to itch, hurt, be red ....

Just recently my upper back and mostly near the shoulders - getting a lot of these bumps. Went to a body relief spa last week to get a back analysis and treatment. Back felt wonderful. Used light steam, lots of hot towels, creams to hydrate and did exfoliation.

I'm going back in a month for another treatment. Back isn't itchy right now. Probably still need to go to Dermatologist occasionally to have some bumps (Seborreheic Keratosis) removed with the nitrogen.
