Yes, I love this site too. I have found more helpful information here than anywhere else. It's like a pick and mix counter - you try things out and take what works for you. I saw my neuro yesterday who was very pleased with my progress - or lack of it, because I'm pretty stable. I know that'll change at some point but for now, I feel well most days. I attribute it to judicious use of medication, the supplement list I've put together through the research others on this site have done (thank you Silvestrov) and exercise. I can't exercise like you, Bailey - you are impressively fit and I was never someone who exercised - but I do now. No one in my healthcare team has ever once mentioned exercise to me and I'd never have known about it had it not been for this site. I still work three days a week and this week, I did three consecutive days which is unusual and couldn't do my normal routine. I'm not great this morning, so I'm headed to the gym. Thank you to everyone who contributes to the greater knowledge on this site. It is hearing about people's experience that makes it work - we know what it is to live with PD.

You have to have PD to really understand what it is like. Doctor's only know what they are taught, they don't really know what it is actually like to have any disease unless they themselves have it. This site is definitely a blessing to me. One of my most shocking moments was when the doctor told me pain is not a symptom of PD.

The things i have had with pd would fill pages and not once has my Dr. been surprised or said that it was not pd. He just thanks it as tit comes and deals with it. He is a research Dr also so he sees a lot of things a lot of Drs don't. i have insurance but he is not on it co i pay out of pocket for him, He is one of the best has a 2 year wait for new patients.

But you probably notice that the people here seem a bit odd sometimes , sometimes a good day sometimes not. I realize now it is good hours and bad hours and good weeks and bad weeks and I have had a few bad months. Those are the times that I just read and do not post. Sometimes I take out my anger on an innocent. Sometimes I run off at the mouth and the odd thing is sometimes something I posted that I had misgivings about gets 17 likes. I have learned very much from this web site and I feel that I know some of the people well. I enjoy reading what most of the contributors write " show them the Poop stool Gymbag".

Sometimes the characters here make me laugh and sometimes cry. Sometimes.
