I bought the book a while ago and as yet have only skimmed through it. For my part I totally agree. I have always been a nervous, hyper type of person and have suffered for many years with low confidence and panic attacks. I do appreciate that not everyone with parkinsons has this sort of personality but I've meet quite a few who have.

seems to suggest stress and stressors are affecting nervous system....modern reality.....can't get away from this reality.....economy depends on it. death of the leisure class?

maybe the problem lies in culture and calls for changes in cultural "values" as well as psychological awareness?
