I’m 74 yrs old and have some other autoimmune conditions with arthritis. I have Kyphosis and thoracic spine degeneration. Up until a year ago I didn’t have much pain or much restriction.
That has changed and now my right side of chest aches a lot up into my shoulder. I am restricted in what I can do. I find it very frustrating. I just started glucosamine today and hoping it’ll help.
any suggestions would be much appreciated 😌

I find glucosamine (with chondroitin) is very helpful for my toes, which don’t bend (hallux rigidus). My husband has a rigid spine, from ankylosing spondylitis, and finds magnesium and turmeric helpful.
As you are, I’m sure, aware, you need to keep your muscles as strong as you can so that they can support your bones. Personally I don’t like swimming but it is supposed to be a very helpful form of exercise as your joints are supported by the water.
Your diet needs to have plenty of vegetables and as great a variety of these as possible.
