I live in a legal state that offers medical marijuana. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best medical treatment

It's great for inflammation, fatigue, stress, etc. If you can use it, I would suggest it! Might make a difference for you.

ShannonMFG,

Has this worked for you? My rheumy has never mentioned it. My sister brought this possibility up a few day ago. At the time I thought it might help with the pain, but had no idea it could do more. Perhaps, I should look into this further.

Thanks.

You're rheumy won't mention it. But if it's legal in your state, I think it's worth looking in to.

I have taken the marijuana when I have severe pain. Oh my it really helps. I have used the chewable which are easy to carry around. I only use it at home and don't leave or drive. It does help with the pain.

Marijuana is used to relive pain. the main chemical in marijuana THC relaxes the body therefor taking away pain. it also helps many other medical problems like anorexia, Aids, Cancer, and the list goes on. since marijuana helps out so much, we should take a stand and help make marijuana legal. we should be able to have whatever medicine we need for what illness we need. and for those saying we would abuse marijuana, then your wrong because you can not overdose from the use of marijuana. It is impossible and there for so what if we abuse it. as long as it doesn't take live than thats fine. you can overdose on alcohol and thats illegal so why cant people use marijuana.

First of all, the legalization of marijuana can help us in more ways than just medically, but I digress. The main point of this comment is to let a lot of you know that smoking is not the only way to feel the effects of marijuana and also, certainly, not the most efficient way of using it. There are three other effective and "healthier" alternatives for using marijuana. You could soak it in food grade glycerin for 90 days and basically make liquid THC and either put it on your food/ingest it or you could use it as eye drops, considering your eyeball has a permeable surface. You could cook it in with your food, for example brownies or cookies. Lastly, the most efficient usage of marijuana would be with a vaporizer, which allows 97% THC received and there's little or no harm done to your lungs because it's just water vapor that contains THC... Just saying.
