waiting for stool results

please could someone let me know roughly how long it takes for results to come back? I sent it off early Monday morning.

It usually takes about 7 days or less in Australia.

It depends on what test was ordered - FIT, calprotectin etc..and more importantly, the hospital you are under because some are quite efficient at getting results back (under 2 weeks) but others can take at least a month! If whoever ordered the test said urgent, then of course it has priority. My last calprotectin took over a month to come back...

My hospital used to send the tests away and they took about 3 weeks to come back. Now they are done in-house and it takes a few days.

The blood results come back normal but still waiting for my stool results. I’m nervous and just stressed really because just don’t know what’s going on and whether it’s linked to other issues going on as I get very bad pain left side near my ovary too.

It is supposed to be 2-4 weeks , I guess it depends on the hospital etc.

I went to my GP for the stool sample, no idea where it’s been tested and not entirely sure on what they’re exactly doing. I hope so, don’t want to be waiting ages

I’m in uk and got FIT, bloods and normal stool sample test results back within 3 days. All abnormal so don’t know if that’s why so quick?
