Has anyone had balloon dilation for a stricture in small bowel?

I’m currently in hospital admitted with excruciating pain brought on by a stricture in the small bowel which is derived from an operation I had last year( resection ) my procedure is due this afternoon and any advice or experiences would be much appreciated.
