U C sufferer - Astra vaccine

UC sufferer. Side effect of Astra vaccine?? Dodgy tummy and bad wind? Anyone else experience this

I don't suffer from UC. But I had a bloated stomach and very odd feeling in the pelvic area. I drank plenty of coconut water that helped. My son has UC I don't think he'll have the vaccine. He has already had covid.

Did you have a cough ? I recently had a throat infection then had a flare up. Hopefully I am well for vaccine. I hope your better soon. I've been sipping on a small carton of peach aloe forever lite its soothing. My friend gave me it to try tastes strange but soothes.

Hi, I don’t suffer from an IBD, I was tested for it in 2019 and it came back clear but I do have IBS and had an awful flare after my AstraZeneca vaccine in April. Took about 3/4 weeks to settle, had a painful tummy cause of gas, bloating and all foods upset my stomach. So yes, I think it can be a side effect. I was also quite anxious after mine, so I’m sure that adds to it.

I have UC and have had both AZ vacs, no problem whatsoever.
