Calprotectin Home Test Kit

Does anyone have any experience of Calprotectin Home Test Kits and can recommend any please? How reliable are they ? Thank you!

I’ve heard they are unreliable but I don’t know that for sure.

I would keep going back to your GP until they do one for you they shouldn’t be ruling it out at all and refusing to do it.

GP can’t do it because of the Trust rules has to be Consultant and he’s ruled out Crohns without the test so a bit of a difficult situation. Hence why I thought I might just try doing the test myself.

That’s strange how practices differ my doctor was able to do calprotectin test then I was referred to gastroenterologist... could you not seek advice of another doctor???

Each trust has its own rules so it’s a postcode lottery!
