colonoscopy will show inflammation, ulceration, lesions and scar tissue. Biopsies will show differences in the bowel tissues from healthy bowel tissues. Symptoms of crohns include diarrhoea, pain, frequent bowel motions, passing blood and/or mucus, weight loss, poor absorption

My Crohns is in the terminal Illeum and they couldn’t get in that far so they found nothing in my colonoscopy and was diagnosed with a barium.

Have you been Checked for a Celiac disease?

How do they test for that

There is a blood test but it is not completely accurate and I believe they can also do an endoscopy where they put a camera down your throat and take a biopsy, but I am not completely sure on the exact procedure.

You swallow barium and they watch it as it goes down and then they take xrays every 10 or 15 minutes so the eventually see you entire digestive system.
