I have Crohn's disease , have had a bad few years with it, but doing okay at moment. I have terminal Ileum crohns, my mother has diverticulosis and my father had ulcerated colilitus .

my family all have stomach and bowel problems. My mum suffers with stomach ulcer my sister and I both have ileum colitis however I have now been diagnosed with coeliac disease. I have been gluten free since August last year. My sister is now awaiting tests for coeliac disease.

I do feel a lot better being gluten free but i still want the foods I can't have.

Hi, it is hard wanting foods you aren't allowed. I also suffer migraines and miss cheese, luckily never been a big chocolate person, but do miss cheese... Not allowed much as it can trigger, migraine. So do feel for you. Not thought of being tested but a friend, has suggested it. Hope sister gets her results soon xx

Just wanted to say hello.

I have terminal ileum crohn's too, diagnosed just over a year ago but been having symptoms for years.

I'm very glad that you are feeling better can I ask if you had anything that made a big difference? I was on budesonide for a year I've just restarted them as having a rough patch not sure if linked to b12 injection or coincidence.
