My stomach symptoms have started flaring worse again. Emptying my bowels more, blood when going to number 2, and pain is severe even morphine isn't touching it. My swelling is worse also, along with me nausea.
Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
I've not been diagnosed yet. But my symptoms match up. Waiting to see a gastroenterologist for the first time next month.

Hi hunny, i dont find any painkillers help with my pain not even morphine when i having major flare. my advice is to go to A&E, if you can get admitted you will see a gastro and they will carry out necessary tests sooner rather than later. if pain is that bad it sounds as if your having a major flare. please get seen asap, i ended up with septicaemia and almost perforated bowel once from trying to be strong and avoid hospital
the fact you are passing blood and have a lot of pain it does sound as tho it could be. have you lost any weight, pass mucus with your stool and is it diarrhoea. also have you got a temperature as often it will be raised during a really bad flare. also has your GP done any blood tests xx
I have diarrhoea a couple of times a week usually, almost always have mucus or pus in my stools. My CRP was raised when my GP did blood tests.
My temperature is often raised due to lupus, so not sure if that would be caused by it. But when I went to A&E with severe pain before, my temperature was raised xxx
with a flare of crohns or colitis you would expect diarrhoea everyday and several times a day. you are probably aware as you have 1 autoimmune disorder you are at a slightly higher risk than normal of having another. it could even be a side effect of medication which has inflammed your bowel xx
