Started February 6th - Graduated today April 13th! You can do it too

Delighted to have finished! Unfit 41 year old,14.5 stone (was touching 15) and managed to do the full 5K in 38 minutes. Not fast I know but I did it. Me!

Off out to buy myself some extra gear as reward, might get myself one of those graduate tee shirts.

Ironically, today I felt was my worse ever run out of the past 9 runs since starting week 7. It was also my first run in sunshine, that makes a difference. I think of all those time I've gone with bloody minded purposes, my hoody freezing up from ice, the first week lungs bursting, the second week I thought my ankle muscles would seize and week 7 felt like a major step up. But you get through it. Just keep going.

I did it you can too.

Congratulations cookie and welcome to the Grad Club!! :) It doesn't need to be fast just keep it up regularly so it becomes a good habit then you can progress to other things.

Now go and enjoy some well deserved shopping for running gear cos that is what you are! ;)
