Belfast Marathon Relay Team

Well, I have almost done what I set out to do when I started C25K. Before I had run a foot I suggested to a group of us who are going to Africa in October that we raise money by entering a team each in the relay of the marathon. Let me stress, we are not young! and have never been runners. So after laughing about it, we set out to try to see if this was possible. So now: C25K graduated - check. team gathered - check. Come 5th May I will be able to say, relay marathon done - check! And I am the team captain!!!!

Thanks Sue. I also think I would like to do a parkrun. Any idea how I find out if there is one in my town?

If I assume by your user name you are in Derry then your nearest Parkrun is in Coleraine. They also currently run in Belfast (4), Craigavon, Ballymena, and Portrush with plans afoot for more. See below
