Go for it!!! You'll be pleasantly surprised at just how quickly your body adapts to the new activity. Take it steady, (from the forums, a lot of people jog just slightly faster than they walk) and let Laura guide you. You'll find yourself brimming with confidence and energy and the progress you make is amazing! Five weeks ago I could barely run for 60 seconds, by Sunday I'll be running for 20 minutes. Listen to your body and adapt accordingly; leave it a couple of days if you're too stiff etc. but I'd definitely recommend giving it a go. Best of luck!! :D

Hi! I was 18st 9 when I started in October, having just joined weight watchers I wanted to do something that improved my fitness alongside getting thinner. I am now on wk 9 (few weeks enforced break after car crash) so only 2 runs left before I graduate, did 30mins today. You've done fab with your weight loss so def give c25k a go. You'll be amazed how quickly you improve.. just take it steady, be determined and enjoy the achievment! Good luck!

Give it a go! Don't worry if you have to repeat runs/weeks - there's no rush to complete the programme. Why not measure yourself before you start as lots of people find they lose inches sooner than weight. It might take a few weeks to notice a weight loss but your jeans will feel looser on you much sooner! Best wishes and welcome to better health, both physical and mental! :)
