Anyone else thinking of doing the Bupa winter run?

yes, think I must be crazy. Looked at the route on Google street view, it's uphill for about 2km, looks steep!

Looking forward to the run - only two weeks away now. I did the Great Edinburgh Run in the autumn and was a bit concerned about the hills. But I popped over to Edinburgh for a walk round the course and saw it wasn't as bad as it looked on the course profile. my advice would be to take the steeper bits at a shorter stride and then let yourself go when running down the other side - what goes up must come down!

I just hope it's dry - I don't mind cold and dry, but cold and wet? Uurgh! Good luck on the day.
