Sorry, Charlize

Sorry, Charlize

Rest day

But waiting for the 134 bus I decided to attempt some knee-strengthening exercises – mainly to stop my feet dropping off from frostbite.

Feeling encouraged I stood up, leant again the side of the bus shelter and slid down about six inches, bending my knees. An excellent exercise, so I repeated it several times, sliding up and down feeling very pleased at my fantastic multi-tasking ability and time-management.

Hey, look at me waiting for a bus and exercising my knees simultaneously.

The only other person in the bus queue gave me a very odd look but I ignored him – he was clearly just jealous.

The bus arrived and I got on. Looking out of the window as it pulled away I realised I had just spent the last five minutes rubbing myself up and down the gold lame-clad body of the gorgeous Charlize Theron in the Dior J’Adore ad.

  • Well I'm glad my behaviour has kept the rest of you laughing.

  • Sooooo funny!! I think the guy was jealous because you had taken his spot next to Charlize......

  • I hadn't thought of that. You are probably right.

  • Tee hee. That made me laugh.

  • What a brilliant post! This has really cheered me up! :D

  • I am delighted that you enjoyed it, Newbie. But you are hardly a Newbie are you with that fab green badge. Congratulations. Isn't it funny how we all hang around the Community Blog instead of moving on to 5K+?

  • Yes, I post in the 5k+ but love reading posts from the community at large. Especially new starters and graduation blogs! I guess I find the 5k+ area quieter and as people's personal goals are more varied after completion of the c25k programme, it maybe feels like the community blog is better for bonding. I'm not sure, but I enjoy a wee nosey at other people's experiences all the same!

  • that's so funny :-D Thanks for sharing!
