Oh yes, very important especially those post-run stretches! Dont stretch cold muscles though so if stretching before your run do it after your warm-up walk otherwise you could do more damage.

At least you have learnt early on which is good.

Hi 11, warming up is more important than stretching in my opinion. I only stretch a little to loosen up but i always warm up. When i (attempt to) go Parkrunning i spend about a minute stretching but probably 10 minutes walking briskly to warm up. Ed x
