Some days it just so nice to do things that little bit slower, take stock of your surroundigs and just plain enjoy the feeling of covering the ground without any pressure. The sky was clear not a cloud to be seen this morning quite chilly though about 6C I would say, so all I wanted to do was enjoy the fresh air, so I did, because I can ;)

It's lovely and bright and sunny here in the south of England too. I've just enjoyed a slow run, my first since cold bug and straining knee last Saturday. Good to be back running.

I can't wait to do that Garmin stuff like you - very impressive I must say. Enjoy the sun Oldgirl, I'm sending you a bit of warmth from Italy at 26 degrees, but don't be too jealous as rain ins forecast for tomorrow and it'll be down to 21 degrees. Make hay and all that...xox

No, no, no we don't need the heat from Italy, Delia please keep it. It was nice this morning, sunny but cold and a slow trot round the aerodrome was nice, not sweaty and pink like some days.

Wonderful. Looked at your Garmin track. I've fond memories of holidays in Aberdeen and visits to Hazelhead Park.

Its a disgrace just now, the toilets and cafe have been closed. The children's play area is one of the biggest in the city and not a loo in sight for the little ones. Don't know what's going to be happening, our city council is the laughing stock of the country, they can't get anything right it The park land and gardens are still lovely though, thank goodness.

It's lovely to run slow and enjoy the pleasure of running, isn't it? I really look forward to my long slow distance run most of all each week, and to date have been lucky with the weather on each of these runs.
