It's lovely and bright and sunny here in the south of England too. I've just enjoyed a slow run, my first since cold bug and straining knee last Saturday. Good to be back running.

No, no, no we don't need the heat from Italy, Delia please keep it. It was nice this morning, sunny but cold and a slow trot round the aerodrome was nice, not sweaty and pink like some days.
Its a disgrace just now, the toilets and cafe have been closed. The children's play area is one of the biggest in the city and not a loo in sight for the little ones. Don't know what's going to be happening, our city council is the laughing stock of the country, they can't get anything right it The park land and gardens are still lovely though, thank goodness.
It's lovely to run slow and enjoy the pleasure of running, isn't it? I really look forward to my long slow distance run most of all each week, and to date have been lucky with the weather on each of these runs.
