I set my alarm for 6am, but snoozed until 6.30am which wasn't a good start. I hastily got dressed and headed out, only to find today I'd under-dressed as it was freezing! I couldn't wait for the first run just to get a bit warmer. Most of my body did warm up, but my arms were really cold throughout. Note to self: wear long sleeves in future!

The first 2 runs were OK, but I struggled with the second two. Just as Laura popped up to talk about stitches - guess what....I got a stitch! My first one of the programme. I was sure we got more than 2.5 minutes walking after the 2nd 3 minute run, but sadly not. I struggled with the final 5 minute run, and was about to give up (another first) just as Laura told me to slow down. I feel disappointed, however I got out and about so that counts for something. Also I've read loads of inspiring words on here saying that you have bad days, and to just keep going.

I did smile however when Laura suggested slowing down if I was flagging (which I was!) The only problem with this is that I'm not sure I can go much slower!

It was a bad run for you; I read on here that even a bad run is a good run (which pleases me as I've had a few!!)

You completed it - well done!!! Move on to the next and I bet it'll be fab!!!

Trust me it gets better. I really struggled with week 4 and it was all because my pace was all over the shop. Try and stay as steady as you can on all four runs and R3 will be much better for you. Good luck and keep running! :)

summers day and I had a great run, pace was down a little and the last 5 minutes felt very hard but...
