So I finally got out to do my run this morning BUT omg it was hard and now its painful..

Started out really really slow when I felt how hard it was for the first 3 runs but after that it felt better and I managed to run in a slow tempo but it was running not jogging and it felt so good. no pain no nothing it just felt good. Finished the podcast and began my 20 min walk home. When I came home my knees were aching and the top of my thighs, just before the groin is sore, and it still is.

Don't know if i tensed up in the beginning and changed the way i run in the beginning when it was hard or if it was my proper running at the end or if it is my weight and shoes that are playing up. Am now worried that I won't be able to start w3 on Wednesday. I'll be gutted if I can't because I really enjoy it...... And I can't really afford buying a new pair of shoes at the moment either......

Maybe you pushed yourself a bit to hard? If your not feeling better, an extra day or two off is better then risking further injury. I know for me, it helps to warmup a bit before I start the program for that day. Good luck!
