i started with the speed podcast (it was the first one on my iPod). 5 minute walk with a 5 minute run at 150 bpm (i think) and then 1 minute intervals of 165 bpm and 150 bpm. Total running time of 16 minutes.

I found the 150 bpm really slow and quite hard to keep in a rhythm at first, the interval weren't too bad but preferred running at the faster speed. Felt like I'd done a good workout although it was shorter than I expected.

It has however achieved what I was hoping it would - the running bug!!! Eager to go out again and try one of the others. I am going to try stepping stone next time
