Week 11, Run 3: Slower...........so now I go longer!

It was hard work today. 5k in 39:18. That's not my worst 5k time, but 2:30 mins slower than Wednesday. I'm not at all disappointed as I ran 3.11 miles, but I wasn't at all enthused.

So now I've decided that I need a new challenge and will start the 10k training on Monday using the Hal Higdon Novice programme.

I've been trying to introduce Kettlebell workouts back in my routine for a few weeks, but quite frankly, running 5k 3 times a week has left me with hardly no energy to do so.

I shall give the new programme a couple of weeks and see how it benefits both my weight and my distance at the end of each week.

Onwards and upwards! Or should that be onwards and go looooooong........?
