Was meant to do W1R3 yesterday but was tired after work and it was hot so didn't. Too much to do today so am planning to go tomorrow but seem to have lost my enthusiasm - perhaps I am not cut out to be a runner after all !!
I have been bad: Was meant to do W1R3 yesterday... - Couch to 5K

Don't beat yourself up! You can do this!
You do have to make your 40 mins or so (incl warm up cool down) a priority in your life though, whatever else is happening lol! You are worth it!I
If you are tired it is so hard to push yourself to get out. Especially after work. Lots of people get it done by running first thing so its over and done with before everything else they have to do, so perhaps you could do that? I am smiling to myself here cos all my life (I am 50) I have insisted I couldnt exercise first thing but when one of the runs fell on my 10 hour work days/choir practice nights I proved to myself I could!
I was always afraid that if I missed a few days I would lose my momentum and the next run would be even harder. I hate running when its warm too, but find I have to slow down (any slower and I will be going backwards!).
I promise you that if I can do this then you can (50 year old, obese, and hadnt run since school!)
Good luck and enjoy
Andrea

You can do it! As with all exercise, it can seem like a drag to get started but once you get into it then it isn't so bad. And afterwards you'll be glowing and really pleased you did it. Keep going!
As Andrea says, try going first thing in the morning without wasting too much time deliberating over it. Then it's done for the rest of the day.
Good luck x
I've thought about t first thing in the morning but I have enough trouble getting out the door to go to work!! Also I run with my hubby, who already has to leave the house at 7.30am, so we would be getting up in the middle of the night (well nearly)

Keep going! I've just finished week 1 myself, and already I'm pretty proud of myself, so it's worth it. I keep reading the blogs of people who are in weeks 4, 5, 6 etc and find them very inspiring and encouraging - they're living proof that we can get there. Think how proud we'll feel once we reach week 9. Seems impossible to me right now, but it is do-able. So keep going!!
