I did it!!! Finally finished the program! Wondering how I can earn the Graduate badge? Has anyone tried Bridge to 10K or other programs?

Congrats!!! To get your badge, send JR21 a message (in the directory, under admin).

Just graduated myself so no B210k yet, still working on speed and distance.

Good luck on your next running endeavour!

Thanks so much! I'm not quite ready for B210K just yet. Still need to build speed. Congrats to you as well!

Well done! It's a great feeling isn't it? :) I graduated yesterday and I'm thinking about how to move forward and set myself more goals. I plan to do some parkruns and work on my times. Graduation is the beginning :)

Thank you!

Congratulations on graduating! I am doing a bridge to 10k programme I found on runnerbug. I like the concept: two runs a week where you run for a set time period and then the third run is a set distance. I am very panicky about my upcoming 10k race, but starting week 2 of the programme today and feeling a bit more able and confident as I had a confidence-inspiring run up a daunting hill Saturday.

Well done!

I agree with margerine that graduation is the beginning... It's a bit like you only *really* learn to drive once you pass your test.

I graduated about a month ago now and have been running pretty much every other day since. Upping the distances, taking leisurely runs on a fresh crisp sunday morning - you've lots to look forward to!

Regarding the B210K, I've not looked at that yet but have just signed up for a 10k race in October so looking to get training on that. I know there are some new NHS podcasts coming this month but until they appear, I've been looking at the Bupa intermediate plan which is aimed at runners who are able to run for 30 mins / 5k and are looking to extend it to 10. It's a 6 week program.

I was more curious to hear thoughts on what steps were taken after graduation. I've got plenty of room for improvement as far as speed. I'll probably just keep the momentum going by working on that during my runs.

Well done! It's a great feeling! I graduated on Friday. I had a look at Jeff Galloway's runwalkrun 10k program and pondering doing this till the new podcasts come out. In a moment of midlife madness I have entered a 10K later this year.

Enjoy your Graduation 'high'.

Thanks so much! I'm not sure I've experienced a runner's high just yet. I just keep plugging away in hopes that one day it will find me. :)

Well done you! I'm a couple of weeks behind you - just started week 8 today. I 'run' really slowly so won't be looking at the 10k till I can do 5k. (At the moment 25 minutes gets me nowhere near 5k, maybe nearer 3?)

Thank you kindly! I'm still in need of improving my speed so I won't be going into anything new just yet. Keep up the good work. You are almost there and will be running a 5K in no time!

Congratulations! I've done w9r1 this morning and hope to finish next weekend. A particular congratulations to you daisee as I saw you have health issues to deal with. What an inspiration you are, well done!

Thank you very much! I thought for sure I was getting through until I sprained my mcl during week 7. It was not as difficult returning back to training as I anticipated. The other health issues have a tendency to be more bothersome than anything. I'm going to try and keep it up with at least 3 runs a week. Hoping to run my first 5K race soon! You're so very close. Keep it up! Great job!

Lovely shiny graduate badge! Well done you. And awesome determination to move on to 10 k already. I'm just consolidating the 5k and trying to up my pace a little while plucking up the courage to go in for my local 5k park run! :-)
