I am definitely not destined to be anything other than a fairweather runner - sorry not going running in this - don't do cold and wet!! Will jogging on the spot count the same?

Don't knock it until you've tried it. Seriously, I've run my best runs in the cold and wet. It's very liberating!!

perhaps I should have tried!! anyway I set up the wii plus free jogger so I had something to look at and marched/jogged on the spot to the podcast ... I know its probably not ideal but at least I did something rather than nothing ....

Something is definitely better than nothing! But don't dismiss running in the rain. I have discovered that I actually prefer the rain to warm sunny weather for running as I don't get so hot! This surprised no-one more than me!

I love running in the rain! Once you've started running you don't notice the cold anyway so that doesn't count, get out there and try it!

If I had only run on dry days in June I would have managed one run because we had just one dry day the whole month. Try it, its fun and much cooler, it makes you go faster to get warmed up too. I did end up buying a cap cos couldn't see once my specs got wet, love my cap and wear it even when its not raining, well OK once when it wasn't raining!!
