Am I just being pedantic, or is the spam getting others down as well? It seems no one bothers to give a reply once that has been posted. Are the moderators not too fussed about it?

Yes its a pest, I have just sent JR21 a message, they may be able to block that user from signing on in future. Will of course only work until they get another sign on.

I have been spammed twice and ended up sending a narky message to the spammer, but I doubt they looked at it. I reported the spamming each time too.

It will likely be a spambot and not an actual person. All that needs to be done to stop it is add a captcha to the registering process - its one of those boxes with random letters/words you fill out to prove you're human.

Yes, I hate the spam too. I reported it once but it does seem to recur. I hope the website moderators do something about it.
