Trouble downloading podcasts!

I am downloading onto my MP3 player and am going is circles as it keeps telling me the file format is nor supported but when downloading from the site it does not give you the option of format. Can anyone help? I really want to get going

This is where you need a teenager! I have consulted the one I have in residence and she says "you need to download from the site to save in your documents then transfer to itunes so you can download to your MPS player"

I have little idea what that means or if it helps- I get her to do it for me but hope it helps.

When you download the file onto your computer it may well be a zipped file so open it and re save it, it should then load onto your MP3 player OK.
