i find humming or even singing a tune whilst running can help.does anyone else do this??
does anyone sing whilst running?: i find humming... - Couch to 5K
does anyone sing whilst running?
lol I just have to concentrate on breathing !!! with the odd shout to myself to keep going!! Sounds cool - keep going, the thought makes me smile.
yes breathing does help!!!
Sometimes while I'm still able to but only if there is no one in sight as my voice is pretty terrible. My family often ask if I'm in the middle of a stroke when I am actually singing. They have been known to offer me money to stop. :)) Keep on singing.
im sure u will be on x factor soon!
lol that or Britains Got Talent
Ha ha blueboots! That made me spit out my ribena!
I always end up singing whilst running (but I do run in the New Forest where only a few horses & sheep can hear me). It always messes up my breathing rhythm though.
The world is really not ready to hear me singing......
The world isn't ready to hear me either although I do occassionally sing along.....on a plus side there isn't normally anyone around to hear
Id be worrying about singing if daughters are anything to go by.
when they have their earphones in they shout so Id definately try not to sing, especially if its louder than I think
Singing ? I don't have enough breath for that. And I can't sing at the best of times.
Sadly, sometimes I count......1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4....or other times I start at random numbers and count....... 88,89,90,91......
Even sadder, my job is accounts - more numbers.......
After the counting, I seem to get a rhythm and then I listen to the podcast music to find out how the lyrics are relevant to my feeble efforts at running !
I think I only ever sing when riding a motorcycle - just 'cos no-one can hear me - even I can't hear me !
I always sing when I ride my motorbike!!! I have the worst voice but it is fun... Running and singing is harder to do though. When I do long runs at the gym I find I need something to keep me occupied so I sing in my head and mouth the words, that way my breathing stays more regular (and no one bleeds from their ears from my tragic tones).
God, I can barely breathe let alone sing!!
im sure you are a great singer pat.....by the way hows peggy at the vic??
I always find myself singing after I've finished, as I cool down. But the songs I listen to during the run always come into my mind for the rest of the day and even when I wake up the following morning; round and around in my head.
