Does anyone experience achy feet? I started the couch to 5k again last week after my first attempt in 2020. I made it to week 7 but fell ill and didn’t make it to week 9. I’ve been wanting to complete it again ever since. Anyway, I stand a lot in my job and after two runs last week, my feet are achy.
They aren’t painful just achy arches. My shoes are still in good condition and I purchased them from a running shop, after a gait analysis. Wondering if I should continue with it or I could my making my life harder.

Well done with getting to week 7 last time and restarting
Sometimes it feels to me like running is a crash course in the anatomy of the lower limbs. Every 6 months or so I find another tendon that I can get pains in. Luckily, physio has sorted each of them out like magic. Speak to your GP as they may have a physio that you can be referred to. If you're on your feet all day you may need a little extra help. Targeted exercise can work wonders.
Running can bring so much pleasure it would be a real pity if you stopped without getting some expert help. Good luck!
Everything @Yesletsgo said! Targeted foot exercises, also hamstring stretches. The plantar fascia runs all down the back of the legs and along the soles of the feet, so stretching out the backs of the legs can help to ease things off. A physio could really help you, good luck!
Great job getting to Week 7 and wanting to continue. A friend of mine works as a chef/caterer and swears by a padded mat that he uses when working long days.
But I agree with everyone else in that a physio might be able to direct you to appropriate treatment/stretches/exercises.
Achy arches may simply be because your feet are coping with forces that they haven't experienced before. If your non-running shoes are fairly stiff and supportive your arches will not have been under much load before.
Hopefully this will pass after a few weeks, but it is worthwhile getting investigated just in case it develops into something like plantar fasciitis.
