I don’t think there’s anything necessarily wrong with your watch. My Zumba class often burns more than my runs because I’m doing it at a much higher intensity. More importantly, I’ve seen lots of articles talking about how smart watches aren’t very accurate for estimating calories burned. If this is the only reason for wanting to change your watch, I’d personally be saving the money and buying running shoes instead!

Agree with MissUnderstanding - from what I’ve read the best we can expect from most fitness watches on calories burned is a guideline, they will never be 100% accurate. I used Fitbit for years and that was all over the place for lots of stats. Switched to a Garmin Forerunner 45 (cheaper option) and that seems a lot more consistent, but would never claim it was accurate.
Exactly the same for me! I got my garmin in August (bargain 265 for my birthday) and it’s miles better in terms of consistency of stats. It’s far more preachy than my Fitbit was though! That never told me I was going too fast or slow when I was running 😂😂😂
thank you all. I have been persuaded (didn’t take much 🤣) to buy new trainers instead 😁😁
