Today I was rather pleased with myself for completing w7r1 with an average speed 40 seconds per mile quicker than w6r3. Both 25 minutes of running. Yay! But then Garmin tells me by training is ‘unproductive’. Talk about discouraging! I will try to ignore it 😂 but how can it be?!?

Garmin!
ignore it!!! Any run is productive…maybe just something hasn’t changed…like your fitness level…doesn’t mean it’s not good just that it has stayed the same maybe??
Any how…that run was excellent…that’s all that matters x
IGNORE Mr. Garmin, he's a nasty character, many runners have reported personal bests and that nasty man Mr Garmin has told them that their run was also unproductive. I and other people on this forum will congratulate you on your run today on run 1 of week 7, you have only 8 more runs until you graduate, once again ignore Mr Garmin, I think there is a button on your Garmin watch that you can turn off and not hear that nasty fellow again.
Huge well done you...You ran... you enjoyed...that's what it's all about!
Mr Garmin is a fool, he needs to stick to what he does best, recording kms and times. All runs are productive, and help you become a better runner. Every run is better than no run. If you want real motivation then listen to NRC guided runs
Congratulations, you did it.
