Bit of advice

So I've recovered alot quicker than I expected from my sprained ankle, which I put down to the exercises I've found on here and actually walking on it everyday.

In the last couple of days I've done a couple of 5k walks with no further swelling or pain. I'm now looking to start dipping my toe back into running....I'm missing it like crazy (plus got some cracking trainers for xmas).

This is where I need some advice..I was thinking of starting again from week 1, just so I can build up slowly. What do others think?

Many thanks

The advice I had from my physio after a sprained ankle was to do very short run/walk intervals for the first week: 20 seconds jogging and 40 seconds walking. I think I did about 15 minutes worth the first time I went out.

Also, if you get even the slightest twinge, stop and rest.

(After that I gradually increased the ratio to 30:30, then 60:45, and then restarted C25K at week 4.)
