So I'm now on my consolidation runs and still really enjoying it!!!Just wanted to share with everyone that yesterday a colleague came up to me and said they'd just started week 2 of C25K and had started after seeing changes in me. Seeing someone like me make big changes gave them them the inspiration.
Seems like this programme is the gift that keeps on giving!!! 😁

I was inspired to start after watching my son , who does Ironman triathlon. While I'm incredibly proud of him and his achievements, it was watching the women in age group 65 to 70 . Quite a bit older than me , running a full marathon after swim and 180km cycling. It was taking them 16 hours or more to complete the course. Now I have NO desire to do anything like that but it really made me realise that surely I could manage 5k or 10k . No matter how slow my pace is , I do feel like a proper runner if I can do my 5k approx 3 times per week.
