I completed WK4R3 on Wednesday but I was not easy. I had to push myself. Glad I did.

Well done.

Having to push hard shows a healthy determination that will serve you well, but many new runners make life more difficult for themselves by pushing too hard.

Slowing down to the recommended easy conversational pace makes it more achievable and for most, more enjoyable.

Counterintuitively, it is an easy conversational pace running that builds your stamina and endurance, not fast running.

Say this sentence out loud to yourself "Am I going slow enough to enable me to speak this sentence in one out breath?" If you cannot, you are going too fast.

Keep running, keep smiling.

Thanks for the advice. I will implement your suggestions today on my WR5R1. The only challenge is my route terrain goes up & down across 3 streams. Generally, the landscape constantly changes😰
