I got to week 3 and then had some stuff going on in my life which meant I had a 2 month break from doing (literally!) any exercise!!! Today I jumped back on the treadmill and managed to easily complete a week 2 run so decided to follow it with a week 3 run! I am so stunned that I managed to do the 2 runs back to back!!! After some serious stretching I’m now feeling like I could easily step back to where I was and begin week 4. To think I remember starting the program and struggling with the first run!!!! If you are starting out or, for some reason, had to take a break (or gave up!) you can do it!!!!! I am 90kg and just starting my wellness journey! So for anyone struggling… you can do it!

Well done for restarting and it must be really encouraging to have kept so much fitness.
I’d caution against doing back to back runs like that-you’re much more likely to pick up an injury that way. We all get carried away with enthusiasm sometimes but it’s best to try and rein it in. It’s not worth having to stop and recover.
Really good luck with your next run and your wellness journey too.
Well done on getting back into it .However, i would not suggest back to back runs .
Stick to the program, it's the best way to get to graduation and hopefully stay off the injury couch .
Fantastic that you've re-started C25K Naomicanrun ! However, I'll join the chorus telling you to avoid back-to-back runs.
In fact I'll go further and say that since you reached week 3 before, then had a two-month break with no exercise, you should pick up the whole programme again, ideally from the start, but if not, from the start of week 3.
The increase in activity from week 3 to week 4 is significant, and if you do too much too soon you're likely to get injured, or at least not enjoy the programme as much as you otherwise would.
Enjoy completing C25K!
I love this post...you can hear your energy and enthusiasm. Well done. Do take care of yourself and remember to take the breaks even if you do an alternative exercise.
(EDIT: Gosh just read other replies saying the same. Please do not think people are criticising ...I find this community very caring.)
Remember a habit built slowly is more likely to last than that burst of motivation.
Happy running. Very encouraging.
