Put your pace (15:39) into this calculator and it will show you 😁

This could be totally wrong. I’m treating it like a maths problem.

Your average pace was 15mins39 seconds for 1 mile. You need to find how you would go in 60 minutes. That means scaling up your 1 mile by 60/15.65 (converting the seconds to minutes). This gives 3.83 mph.

I love how you've treated it as a maths problem ;-)

And your maths answer agrees with the runbundle calculator :-)

We tend to work using pace rather than speed. Pace is how long it takes you to cover a unit of distance (eg. a mile or a kilometre).

As MissUnderstanding will tell you, it's the reciprocal of speed. 🤓

Over on this side of The Pond, most races are round numbers of km, so most folks measure their paces in minutes per km.

Reciprocal? Round numbers? You speak in tongues man!

I might talk of reciprocals, but I can't get one over you. 🤣
