Jus started week 3 and ended up walking the first run due to a nasty pain on the inside of my right knee. I am gutted and hoping it won’t take long to resolve 😬

Knee pain stopped Week 3
Knee pain is extremely common for new runners and is basically caused as a result of your muscles not being strong enough to cope with the degree of impact stresses that you are exposing them to.
The guide to the plan has advice on minimising impact and strengthening exercises which will help you overcome this.
You may need more rest days between runs. Good hydration, ice and, as a last resort, painkillers, can help you get through.
I had terrible knee pain. Took advice from a sports shop and bought some Brookes Glycerine shoes and knee supports. Made a huge difference for me
I had knee pain when I started the program. Really good running shoes and an elasticated knee support really helped. I carried on using the knee support for a long time, but find I don't need it any more. So don't give up...
