After a quick look I see that;

+ my old account is still registered (though I probably need to check Strava still has permissions set to send data)

+ our old HU team still exists and still includes the 100+ members we already had last time

+ United Kingdom has now been split into the four different countries so we have to update that if already registered

+ the new 'event' starts with qualifying rounds on Sept 21st

Maybe I will put up a post on the different forums highlighting that the team is there in case anyone new wants to join in

Hi Linda and all,

Just searched for how this works and have downloaded the app. (You know me, I love a good running app)

I found the HU running club group, so have joined that and it’s pending. So I wonder if it is still being moderated? Not sure I can tell who has control over this, or should we set up a new team on there?

Also, as the superslow runner that I am I might not be able to contribute as min eligibility suggests 30min 3k, and this is a pace I have to admit I’m still below.

But I thought this gives me the motivation to try some tempo short runs and see if I can do that speed. (I know it’s slow, but I’m even slower with my Niko Niko pace)

Just thought I’d ask.

I really don't know I'm afraid . I definitely wasn't an admin and I don't remember anything about pending applications. Maybe it would be best to start a new team, or maybe an email to the organisers to ask them why your request to join is still pending?
