I hope you all don’t mind getting a blow by blow update but here goes anyway. Week 2 finished and if you would have said to me a month ago I would be looking forward to my C25K experience I would have laughed. So far so good. The old knees a bit creaky but apart from that all good. Decided mornings are the best time to fit in with work etc. Thanks for your posts I read a lot of them and look forward to the tips and advice which is very useful. I am eating better sleeping better and generally feeling pleased with myself.

Please carry on telling us about your progress. I can only speak for myself but I love seeing how people are getting on with their C25K journey . As for most of us I guess, it is a real challenge and I love to see people doing what they never thought was possible ..... Including myself. Great that you are enjoying running and are already seeing the benefits. Looking forward to your next post.

Of course we want to hear about your progress........ that's why we are all here.

First time through C25K my knees gave me gyp until about W5, then we're not a problem.

The knee strengthening exercises linked to in the guide to the plan can make a huge difference, simply by improving the supportive musculature.

I've got wk2 run 3 up next. Amazed to say, I'm looking forward to it. Had a slight stitch at run 4 this week and the insides of my knees are a little creaky but it's going well. I'm daunted by running 3 mins for wk3 but I feel the improvement and I believe I can do it.

Love hearing how people are getting on.I never thought I would run, the most I had ever done before was run a bath now I've just finished week 6 and at my age too.

Please keep us updated and carry on running

I know what you mean my whole life I avoided running my exercise of choice was swimming, although not very quick or technically correct. I only came across C25K after wanting to exercise after the excess and inactivity of lockdown and seeing what an absolute nightmare it was to book swimming. Wish I had found it earlier
