I’ve just completed week 7 and I’m super proud of myself, however I’m finding that in the afternoons after I’ve done my run (I do my run in the morning), I’m exhausted. Not sure if it’s because I’m a busy mum, maybe?
Any thoughts?

A busy mum no doubt and maybe... you're going too quickly. Try slowing down to a very slow jog - I mean really slow, and see if you feel a bit better.
Duration AND intensity will both play a big part in your fatigue, so while the duration is controlled by the program, YOU are in control of the intensity - so take advantage of that
👍😎
Other factors to consider:
sleep - very important but obviously difficult if the kids are v young
hydration - make sure you're drinking enough (water, juice, tea, etc)
How's your hydration? You really need to be getting those fluids in, especially now the weather is warming up. Your muscles depend on your fluid intake, as does your brain!
You could be just overdoing things depending on other commitments, in which case try having 2 rest days between each run...
Thank you for your replies
I don’t think I’m going too quickly as I’m on the treadmill so very paced and I followed the video on the sticky post with the slow jog. I think I’ve just overdone it today 😬
Onwards and upwards!
Some days I buzz with energy after my run, some days I just want a nap. I don't even have the 'kids' excuse as they've all left home! You're probably just really, really busy, being a mum is exhausting
Thank you all ♥️
